Eric Ginnis co-founded Ginnis and Groysman, P.A. in May 2007. Eric practices in the field of serious personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and motor vehicle accident litigation. As a South Florida native, Eric attended Pine Crest Preparatory School in Fort Lauderdale.
Eric then pursued his undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University as a pre-med student. While there, he wrote his senior thesis on lesions of hippocampus as related to short term memory and received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with published articles in the field of neurophysiology. With a strong medical background, Eric puts his keen knowledge of medicine to use in the courtroom.
Eric attended the University of Florida School of Law and the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. As a law student, he gained valuable experience during his clerkship with the Honorable Judge Barry Stone of the Fourth District Court of Appeals. Eric earned his Master's of Science in Management in May 2001 and his Juris Doctorate with Honors in July 2002. Prior to co-founding Ginnis and Groysman, P.A.
Eric worked for approximately three years as a trial attorney with the Office of the State Attorney, Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, in Broward County, Florida. It is there that he met his wife, Stefanie, who is also an Supervising Assistant State Attorney in the Felony Trial Unit. Eric follows his extensive training in the courtroom with his continued practice in the field of personal injury and complex medical malpractice. To date, Mr. Ginnis has acted as lead counsel in close to 70 jury trials.
By and through his firm Ginnis and Groysman, P.A. Eric continues to focus solely in representing the injured plaintiff in the field of personal injury and complex medical malpractice.
